There’s only a few ways over the continental divide in Northern Colorado, and Berthoud Pass might be my least favorite.
- Role: journey waypoint
- In the article: A short post on a 1,000 km ride from Salt Lake City to Denver: the Utah section “was rad”, with 180 miles of tailwind, and the route crosses the divide at Berthoud Pass, which the writer likes least of the options “But it is undeniably pretty.”
- Why it matters: The pass is the ride’s one named crossing; minor in a few-line post.
