The Cité du Train was officially opened in 1971 and is home to more than 100 historic trains and locomotives, covering nearly two centuries of railway history.

  • Role: subject
  • In the video: The narrator comes by TGV from Strasbourg (about 50 minutes) and tram to the “Musée” stop, finding Mulhouse “not as big or as vibrant as Strasbourg”. Inside he walks the museum’s main hall past steam locomotives, a restaurant and sleeping car, a Paris metro car, a TGV Sud-Est and a Trans-Europ-Express, eats at the museum restaurant and rates the visit 10/10.
  • Why it matters: The museum is the whole subject of the video.
