Rückenfigur — Sketchplanations (2024)
Source: Original · Readwise highlight
The sketch is based on a photo I took in the breathtaking Jonkershoek Nature Reserve in South Africa in 2010.
- Role: backdrop
- In the article: The author says the Rückenfigur sketch was drawn from a photo he took there in 2010. It is the only real place named.
- Why it matters: Only the origin of the example image; the piece is about composition, so the place is minor and replaceable.
